Law. Voice. Social impact. Three words that look like three different lives, and are really one.
Maryjane is a law graduate whose curiosity runs through finance and technology, a professional host who holds rooms rather than manning stages, and a community builder who keeps asking a simple question: if I can, why not?
What follows is not a résumé. It is the work, in her own words.
Law / The Chambers
A Law graduate who manages to remain a finance and tech enthusiast, it's a wonder I'm able to do anything at all.
I've navigated places in the legal space, publishing an article on the tenets of financing, as well as moving on to complete my final thesis, dwelling on E-Banking, Cyberthreats and Fugital Frauds in the Nigerian Finance Sector; A Legal Appraisal.
In my quest for more, I have interned with leading firms Nigeria such as G. Elias, and gained entry into Olaniwun Ajayi, another tier one firm in Nigeria, whilst also taking up Leadership roles as an undergraduate, being the Vice President of the Law Students Association, UNIZIK chapter.

Social Impact
Giving back to society has always been a non-negotiable for me. If I can, why not?
I believe that there are thousands of young persons, persons who might never see the light if we don't act, and in my own little way, where I can, I want to make a change in Society.
This is why I joined LAWSANAID Initiative, championing disability rights for law students across Africa.
It's also why I co-convened The Conversation, UNIZIK, to ensure that youths in Anambra, where I schooled, had access to professionals in their career paths of choice, and questions they wanted to ask.
It's another reason why I joined JCIN UNIZIK, serving as Director of Skills, where I assisted in directing a program which helped roughly 50 persons, members and non-members inclusive, gain access to digital skills at zero cost.
